SMS Co., Ltd. reported consolidated earnings results for the first quarter ended June 30, 2020. For the quarter, the company reported net sales of ¥10,539 million against ¥9,379 million a year ago. Operating profit was ¥2,230 million against ¥1,433 million a year ago. Net profit was ¥2,201 million against ¥1,799 million a year ago. Earnings per share was ¥25.28 against ¥20.68 a year ago. Diluted per share was ¥25.18 against ¥20.60 a year ago.
SMS CO., LTD. is mainly engaged in the information operation businesses in nursing care, healthcare, career, senior life and overseas fields to business operators and end user, among others. The nursing care field is engaged in management support and meal home delivery search services to nursing care providers. The healthcare field is engaged in the communication sale business. The career field is engaged in the provision of nursing care services, recruiting information services and other medical related businesses. The overseas field is engaged in the provision of medical information services for medical staff and business operators.
