Marco Alverà , CEO of Snam, has been appointed chairman of the ELIS consortium for the next six months.

Alverà's appointment was announced at the six-monthly meeting of the CEOs representing over 100 companies belonging to the consortium, organized in collaboration with LUISS Business School. The consortium brings together the companies that support the training initiatives promoted by ELIS, a non-profit educational reality aimed at young people and companies.

During the event, Alverà explored the project objectives for the next six months, which will focus on issues such as training and the school-work relationship and on promoting the participation of young girls from school and university in technical-scientific courses, which offer significant job opportunities for the new generations.

This commitment is in line with the initiatives promoted by Snam in the STEM fields (Science, Technology, Engineering and Mats) in collaboration with both universities and other dedicated entities, such as Valore D.
