RIDGEVILLE, S.C., USA: Faithful+Gould, a member of the SNC-Lavalin Group, was awarded a contract to provide program management services for the expansion of a major automobile manufacturing plant in Ridgeville, South Carolina, to accommodate the production of electric vehicles (EVs). Under the contract, the Company will manage the expansion of existing manufacturing areas and various utility systems to support the carmaker's goal to produce only EVs by 2030.
"The auto industry is watching the proposed bipartisan infrastructure bill and optimistic about the $7.5 billion in funding for EVs and national infrastructure for recharging," said Jonathan Marshall, Faithful+Gould Business Unit Director.
