SNC Lavalin : appoints new CEO to lead Engineering Services business in Canada

MONTREAL: June 9, 2022 - SNC-Lavalin (TSX: SNC), a fully integrated professional services and project management company with offices around the world, is pleased to announce the appointment of Ben Almond as Chief Executive Officer (CEO) of Engineering Services in Canada, effective July 1^st, 2022. Based in Montreal, Ben will report to Philip Hoare, President, Engineering Services, United Kingdom, Europe, Middle East, India and Canada. Mr. Almond takes over from Dale Clarke, who is retiring at the end of the year after 26 years of service to the Company.

As CEO of Engineering Services in Canada, Mr. Almond will be responsible for driving the Engineering Services business toward technical excellence, innovation and greater profitability as SNC-Lavalin strives to engineer a better future for our planet and its people. He will build on the outcomes-driven environment across the business, with a focused approach to performance management to ensure the consistent delivery of world-leading services.

Mr. Almond joined SNC-Lavalin at the start of 2021 as COO for the Engineering Services business in Canada. Prior to joining SNC-Lavalin, he was the Managing Director of Jacobs' Canadian business and has held several senior roles in the industry.
