SnowWorld N.V. reported earnings results for the fiscal 2016. For the year, the company was able to achieve a slight increase in earnings. Turnover rose by EUR 0.1 million, from EUR 25.4 million in fiscal 2015 to EUR 25.5 million in fiscal 2016, operating costs remained virtually unchanged, causing EBITDA to also rise by EUR 0.1 million (increase of 1.7%) to 8.6 million. EBIT decreased by 1.0% to EUR 5.0 million. Net income ultimately rose by 4.4% from EUR 2.3 million to EUR 2.4 million. Interest-bearing debt increased on balance by EUR 4.6 million to EUR 40.6 million (excluding interest rate swaps). Net operating earnings per share amounted to EUR 0.81, an increase of 3.8% compared to the EUR 0.78 of the previous financial year.

The company is positive about the fiscal 2017 and expects to achieve a higher net income than in the fiscal 2016. One of the main reasons for this is the extended third slope in Zoetermeer, which will provide extra visitors and longer stays (resulting in a higher average spending per visitor).
