Spokesperson for the Court of the First Instance and the Economic and Financial Judicial pole of Tunis 1 Mohsen Dali said Wednesday that the public prosecutor near the pole, started over the first two weeks in July, reviewing several files concerning the Ennahdha movement, Qalb Tounes and the Aich Tounsi association in connection with lobbying contracts.

Called by TAP, Dali pointed out that the accusations against Ennahdha and Qalb Tounes parties and Aich Tounsi Association focused on «obtaining foreign funds for the election campaign and accepting funds, the source of which is unknown to fund the election campaign.»

According to Dali, an investigation has also been opened on the Truth and Dignity Commission (French: IVD), the National Anti-Corruption Authority (INLUCC) and the Tunisair national carrier.

Regarding IVD, Dali added that an investigation was launched during the same period for "suspicion of fraud, forgery and use of forgery, obtaining an undue advantage and prejudice caused to the administration in connection with the content of the IVD report on the Banque franco tunisienne (BFT).

For the INLUCC, an investigation was launched over the "mismanagement of funds" during the time Chawki Tabib chaired the body.

According to Dali, the prosecution also opened an investigation into "the suspicion of corruption in the acquisition of aircraft engines" following the file transferred by the transport Ministry to the judiciary on the basis of the report of the general inspectorate of the ministry. The report focused on the period during which Elyes Mnakbi was CEO of Tunisair.
