SoftBank Corp. said Tuesday that it aims to raise the proportion of female managers to 20% of all managers by the fiscal year starting in April 2035 from 7.1% currently in a bid to promote diversity.
The Japanese telecom company said it hoped to boost the percentage to 15% by the fiscal year starting in April 2030. SoftBank said female employees made up 27% of the total workforce as of April.
