Soken Chemical & Engineering Co., Ltd. (JASDAQ:4972) agreed to acquire remaining 30% stake in Ningbo Daxie Soken Chemical Co., Ltd. from CITIC Industrial Investment Ningbo Co., Ltd. on July 4, 2016. On July 4, 2016, approval for change of registration concerning the change of investment stake was obtained.
Soken Chemical & Engineering Co., Ltd. (JASDAQ:4972) completed the acquisition of remaining 30% stake in Ningbo Daxie Soken Chemical Co., Ltd. from CITIC Industrial Investment Ningbo Co., Ltd. on July 8, 2016.
Soken Chemical & Engineering Co., Ltd. is primarily engaged in the manufacture and sale of chemicals, the sale of devices and systems, as well as the provision of engineering services for manufacturing systems. The Company operates in two business divisions. The Chemicals division is engaged in the manufacture and sale of adhesives, fine particles, special performance materials and processed products. The Device System division is involved in the sale of devices and systems, the engineering of manufacturing systems, the provision of maintenance services for plants, and the import and sale of heating medium oil. As of March 31, 2014, the Company had nine consolidated subsidiaries and one associated company.
