SOLARIA ENERGÍA Y MEDIO AMBIENTE, S.A. HAS BEEN AWARDED WITH 250MW OF NEW CAPACITY IN THE SPANISH RENEWABLES AUCTION CELEBRATED TODAY

SOLARIA ENERGÍA Y MEDIO AMBIENTE, S.A. ('SOLARIA'), (www.solariaenergia.com), the Spanish company founded in 2002 and listed in the Spanish Stock Exchange since 2007 hereby notifies that according to the information provided by OMIE (Iberian Electric Market Operator), its subsidiary Planta FV3 S.L has been awarded with 250MW of new photovoltaic capacity in the Spanish renewables auction celebrated today the 26thof July 2017.
This new capacity awarded supposes a major milestone for the Company with currently more than 70MWp renewables generation capacity under management. It will increase the generation perimeter by more than 3.5 times in slightly more than two years.
SOLARIA is focused on generating and selling the carbon free photovoltaic energy generated by its plants but also in increasing the size of its generation portfolio in the markets with the best regulatory frameworks and investment returns
SOLARIA also strives in minimising its cost structure, optimising the financing cost of its projects but also, as previously mentioned, in reducing recourse debt to the very minimum.
