Somany Ceramics Limited announced audited standalone and consolidated earnings results for the fourth quarter and full year ended March 31, 2021. For the quarter, on standalone basis, the company announced total income of INR 5,595.3 million compared to INR 3,565.4 million a year ago. Net income was INR 272 million compared to loss of INR 898 million a year ago. Basic earnings per share was INR 6.42 compared to basic loss per share of INR 2.12 a year ago.
For the year, on standalone basis, the company announced total income of INR 16,453.3 million compared to INR 16,123.5 million a year ago. Net income was INR 559 million compared to INR 132.6 million a year ago. Basic earnings per share was INR 13.19 compared to INR 3.13 a year ago.
For the quarter, on consolidated basis, the company announced total income of INR 5,682 million compared to INR 3,590.5 million a year ago. Net income was INR 309.7 million compared to net loss of INR 93.2 million a year ago. Basic earnings per share was INR 7.31 compared to basic loss per share of INR 2.2 a year ago.
For the year, on consolidated basis, the company announced total income of INR 16,632.4 million compared to INR 16,228.1 million a year ago. Net income was INR 577 million compared to INR 150 million a year ago. Basic earnings per share was INR 13.62 compared to INR 3.54 a year ago.
