Sony Electronics, a manufacturer of AV products and solutions, including 4K HDR Professional BRAVIA displays, 3LCD projectors, LED displays, remote cameras, and AI-based audio tools, has entered into the Collaborative Alliances program. Joining the program will allow Sony to offer more capabilities by providing integrated solutions through alignment with other companies in the AV industry, according to a company press release.
The alliance was also announced at Sony's AV Tech Expo on Tuesday. The event runs through Wednesday.
To support the collaboration, Sony will prioritize its focus on integrating and optimizing hardware and software products catered to channel partners, resellers, integrators and consultants serving corporate, education, government, healthcare, faith, retail, entertainment and transportation markets.
"By working collaboratively with the best and most innovative brands in the pro AV space, we're approaching each alliance as an opportunity to combine our collective strengths and expertise to become a powerful community," Theresa Alesso, Pro Division president, Sony Electronics, said in the release. "As we seek to enhance the functionality and increase the interoperability of Sony's industry-standard AV technology, we're enabling our community to use impactful digital signage, video collaboration and unified communications platforms to engage customers in an even more dynamic and connected manner, while offering our users valuable, all-inclusive and cost-conscious solutions for a range of scenarios."
Sony Electronics is a division of Sony Corporation, founded in 1946 and headquartered in Tokyo, Japan.
