Southern Copper Corporation provided production guidance for 2020. For 2020, the company is expecting to produce 998.4 or 1,000 tons of copper; 2021, 986,500 tons; 2022, 950,100 tons; and then in 2023. For 2020, the company expects to produce 998,400 tons of copper in Buenavista mine. In 2020, the company expects to produce 26,700 tons of molybdenum, in line with the 2019 production. For 2020, the company expects to produce 23.7 million ounces of silver, an increase of 10% when compared to 2019, mainly resulting from the important contribution of the San Martin mine. For 2020, the company expects to produce 80,600 tonnes of zinc, which is about 9% of increase in the production of this metal.
