TOKYO-October 21, 2021-SPARX Innovation for the Future (SIF)-a subsidiary of SPARX Group Co., Ltd. (SPARX; TSE1: 8739)-today announced that its Space Frontier Fund, operating since June 2020, has invested in Infostellar, a total service provider of ground segments for orbiting satellites. Infostellar intends to use this round of capital to recruit personnel for its sales team in preparation primarily for expanding into the US market and its operation team as its client base grows.

Portfolio Company Outline

Infostellar is a ground segment as a service (GSaaS) provider. It offers a ground station network that excels in flexibility and scalability through Stellar Station, a cloud platform for virtualizing ground station networks. It also provides operational support for the ground segments needed to operate satellites, including acquiring wireless licenses and adjusting broadcast frequencies.
