Saint-Denis, 2 December 2021- The Tertiaire division of SPIE Industrie & Tertiaire, a subsidiary of the SPIE group, the independent European leader in multi-technical services in the areas of energy and communications, has been selected to carry out the electrical engineering work on Engie's new campus, which is scheduled for completion in 2024.

Engie's new campus is located in the centre of the La Défense business district in Hauts-de-Seine, France, and will cover an area in excess of 94,000 m2. Spread across four buildings of up to seven storeys, the campus will feature a range of designated catering areas, an auditorium, a fitness room, a trading room, meeting rooms, and other areas. The project organiser, Nexity, has once again chosen to work with the Tertiaire division of SPIE Industrie & Tertiaire in order to carry out all of the contracted electrical engineering work in connection with high and low voltage power and technical building management (under a joint contract with APILOG).

"With this project, which is technically demanding and requires great expertise, our intention is to set a benchmark with respect to energy use, by fully representing the zero-carbon transition. The project strengthens our reputation as both a major operator in the office property sector and a preferred partner of Nexity and similar major contractors", states Denis Onimus, Head of Department at SPIE.

The buildings are intended to be smart and sustainable and will integrate cutting-edge technology that makes it possible to manage the buildings' lighting, heating, air-conditioning and shutter systems as effectively as possible in order to save energy without compromising on employee comfort. In particular, this new technology will make it possible to meet the customer's requirements to obtain the various environmental certificates and labels that are sought for this project (HQE Sustainable Building Excellent, BREEAM Excellent, E+C-, BiodiverCity, WiredScore Gold and Osmoz). The Tertiaire division of SPIE Industrie & Tertiaire ranks among the most successful operators in the sector by virtue of its technical expertise and perfect understanding of BIM processes.
