Cergy, 4 February 2021 -SPIE Nucléaire, the French subsidiary of the SPIE Group, the independent European leader in multi-technical services in the areas of energy and communications, announces two appointments and one change in its Management Committee. Sandrine Renault has been appointed as Human Resources Director and Mohamed Karcouche as Operational Director of the Services to French nuclear park Department. Thierry Courbin becomes Production Resources Director.

Reporting directly to David Guillon, Sandrine Renault will be responsible for developing management policy, deploying CSR policy and anticipating SPIE Nucléaire's HR needs. Mohamed Karcouche will oversee the operational management of the Services to the French nuclear park department, with its three departments: electrical, piping and boilermaking and mechanical, rotating machines and valves. This position was previously held by Thierry Courbin, who is now Production Resources Director, a sector newly represented in SPIE Nucléaire's Management Committtee.

These new appointments, together with the arrival of the Production Resources Department at the Management Committee, will further strengthen this dynamic', said David Guillon, Managing Director of SPIE Nucléaire.

Sandrine Renault began her career in 1989 as a skills project manager at AREVA. In 2000 she joined the ALYZIA group, a subsidiary of the ADP group, where she held various positions: first as an employment/training manager, then as Human Resources Manager. In 2014, she became Human Resources Director at HUB SAFE, then took over as Human Resources Director of the Security Division within the Airport Department of the SAMSIC group.

Mohamed Karcouche has spent his entire career within the ENGIE group and its subsidiary ENDEL. He joined in 2003 and has held the positions of Methods Engineer, Business Engineer, Activity Manager, Project & Contract Manager on large-scale projects and finally Director of the Nuclear Region.

Thierry Courbin began his career in 1987 at SPIE Batignolles as Business Manager. In 1994, he set up SPIE's design office in Lyon, before becoming agency manager for the Rhône Valley. He joined SPIE Nucléaire in 2006. Initially, he was Deputy Director of the Services to French nuclear park Department before becoming its Operations Director in 2010. Thierry joined SPIE Nucléaire's Management Committee in 2019.
