SPIE acquires Probia Ingénierie in France

Cergy, July 21st, 2017 - SPIE, the independent European leader in multi-technical services in the areas of energy and communications, has successfully completed the acquisition of Probia Ingénierie in France, on July 20th, 2017.

Probia Ingénierie, established in 2006 and headquartered in Saint-Martin-des-Champs in France (Finistère), is specialized in the design and delivery of automated industrial equipments for material handling. The company is mainly active in the west of France and generates annual revenues of approximately €3 million, mostly with customers in the agri-food industry.

Philippe Brugallé, Managing Director of SPIE Ouest-Centre, declared: 'The acquisition of Probia Ingénierie will enable us to offer comprehensive solutions meeting the expectations of the agri-food industry.
