SPIE awarded contract for mechanical, electrical and plumbing infrastructure for new build Allander Leisure and Day Care Centre

London, 29 November 2021 - SPIE UK, a subsidiary of SPIE, the independent European leader in multi-technical services in the areas of energy and communications, has today announced a new contract with McLaughlin and Harvey. The contract covers Mechanical & Electrical work and plumbing infrastructure in a new build leisure complex, complete with a separate energy centre, for East Dunbartonshire Council.

As McLaughlin and Harvey's trusted supply chain partner for over six years, SPIE UK will be completing a comprehensive mechanical design, including electrical and plumbing installations for the new Allander Leisure and Day Care Centre. With the site location in Milngavie, East Dunbartonshire, directly next to the existing live centre and new housing estate, the team has had to plan to overcome logistical challenges throughout a 44-week duration. The SPIE UK team will be utilising their collective MEP skills to ensure and deliver a functional and efficient infrastructure.
