WEST JORDAN, Utah (AP) _ Sportsman's Warehouse Holdings Inc. (SPWH) on Wednesday reported fiscal second-quarter net income of $32.5 million.
The West Jordan, Utah-based company said it had net income of 73 cents per share. Earnings, adjusted for one-time gains and costs, came to 76 cents per share.
The results exceeded Wall Street expectations. The average estimate of three analysts surveyed by Zacks Investment Research was for earnings of 32 cents per share.
The outdoor sporting goods specialty retailer posted revenue of $381 million in the period.
Sportsman's Warehouse shares have more than doubled since the beginning of the year. In the final minutes of trading on Wednesday, shares hit $17.27, more than quadrupling in the last 12 months.
