Shanghai, China - December 15, 2016 -- Spreadtrum Communications ('Spreadtrum'), a leading fabless semiconductor company in China with advanced technology in 2G, 3G, and 4G wireless communication standards, today announced that its LTE SoC platform SC9832 has been adopted by Algerian cellphone brand Condor. The two companies will collaborate to provide North African users with a high-performance LTE smartphone solution.

The newly released Condor LTE smartphone is available in standard and premium versions. Both versions are based on Spreadtrum's 28nm 1.3GHz quad-core ARM Cortex-A7 5-mode (TDD-LTE/FDD-LTE/WCDMA/HSPA(+) /GSM/GPRS) LTE SoC platform SC9832, come pre-installed with the Andriod 6.0 operating system, and support the 4G dual-SIM dual-standby mode. The standard version is integrated with a 5-inch FWVGA screen, 1GB RAM and 8GB storage memory. The premium version features a 5-inch HD screen, 2GB RAM, 16GB storage memory, a 4000mAh battery capacity and fingerprint recognition technology, delivering a superior 4G smart experience to users.

Condor Electronics, the largest manufacturer of home appliances and IT electronic products in Algeria with an over 35 per cent share of the local market, has been highly recognized for its quality products and has become one of the most influential national brands in its home market.
