WINDSOR, Conn. (AP) _ SS&C Technologies Holdings Inc. (SSNC) on Thursday reported third-quarter earnings of $160 million.
The Windsor, Connecticut-based company said it had profit of 61 cents per share. Earnings, adjusted for one-time gains and costs, came to $1.15 per share.
The results fell short of Wall Street expectations. The average estimate of three analysts surveyed by Zacks Investment Research was for earnings of $1.17 per share.
The financial services software maker posted revenue of $1.32 billion in the period, which also missed Street forecasts. Three analysts surveyed by Zacks expected $1.35 billion.
For the current quarter ending in December, SS&C Technologies expects its per-share earnings to range from $1.12 to $1.20.
The company said it expects revenue in the range of $1.31 billion to $1.36 billion for the fiscal fourth quarter.
SS&C Technologies expects full-year earnings in the range of $4.62 to $4.70 per share, with revenue ranging from $5.25 billion to $5.3 billion.
