SSE Says Martin Pibworth to Replace Alistair Phillips-Davies as CEO in July

SSE said Martin Pibworth will replace Alistair Phillips-Davies as chief executive officer after its annual general meeting on July 17.

The U.K. energy group on Friday said that Phillips-Davies will continue to serve as CEO until the AGM and would leave the company in November.

SSE said Pibworth, who has held several roles at the company since it joined in 1998, including chief commercial officer, will be paid a base salary of 970,000 pounds ($1.3 million) which will rise to 1.05 million on April 1, 2026.

The company added that Pibworth is also Chair of CBI Scotland.
