ITEM 8.01. Other Events.



On June 28, 2022, SSR Mining Inc., a British Columbia corporation, issued a news
release, following the previously announced leak of leach solution containing
diluted cyanide at the Çöpler mine site in Turkey on June 21, 2022, announcing
that operations have been temporarily suspended pending implementation of
improvement initiatives related to the incident. SSR Mining also announced that
it has hosted officials of Turkey's Ministry of Environment, Urbanization and
Climate Change at the site who provided initial feedback on the improvement
initiatives. A copy of the news release is furnished as Exhibit 99.1 to this
report, which is incorporated by reference herein.
