Standard Bank Group Ltd. said Tuesday that it expects 2021 earnings per share on both a regular and a headline basis to be higher than in 2020.

The South African bank said it expects to report regular earnings per share 95% to 105% higher than in 2020, and in a range of 15.152 to 15.929 South African rand (99 US cents to $1.04).

Headline earnings per share, which strip out certain exceptional and one-off items, are expected to be between 50% and 60% higher that in 2020. The company reported headline EPS of 1,002.6 South African cents for 2020.

The bank said that its earnings for 2021 will include Liberty Holdings Ltd.'s results, which it acquired in 2021.
