Stanley Electric Co., Ltd. (Head Office: 2-9-13 Nakameguro, Meguro-ku, Tokyo; President: Yasuaki Kaizumi, hereinafter referred to as "Stanley Electric") and Thai Stanley Public Co., Ltd. (hereinafter referred to as "THS") have decided to donate a total of approximately 10 million yen through the United Nations High Commissioner for Refugees (UNHCR) to the Islamic Republic of Pakistan (hereinafter referred to as "Pakistan") in order to help recover from the recent flood damage.
Stanley Electric and its group companies express our deepest condolences to those who lost their lives and our heartfelt sympathies to all those who have been affected by this natural disaster.
Stanley Electric and THS have invested in Electropolymers (Private) Limited (Head Office: Karachi), a company involved in the manufacture of automotive lights in Pakistan in 2019, with the aim of focusing on the future potential of Pakistan's automotive market. The company has informed us that there was no direct damage.
We pray for the earliest possible recovery of the affected areas.
