Star Health and Allied Insurance Company Limited (Star Health Insurance) announced the launch of Doc Kendra, an initiative aimed at transforming healthcare access in Tiruppur, Tamil Nadu. The launch will be graced by the presence of the Chief Guest, Thir. T Christuraj, I.A.S, District Collector, Tiruppur District and Thir.

As part of the Doc Kendra initiative, Star Health branches in Tiruppur, Tamil Chennai will feature a dedicated clinic zone with a consultation area, managed by a doctor and a trained paramedic during branch working hours from Monday to Saturday. The clinic will offer primary care services and provide access to a general physician for consultation and diagnosis.

The paramedic will check basic health indicators and supporting the doctor in providing accurate consultation and care. Specialist doctors will also be available through telemedicine for advanced care when needed. This facility will be available to the local community, with the option of being offered free of cost or at a nominal fee.

The Doc Kendra initiative marks an important step in Star Health's healthcare services closer to people, it offers them a trusted space to address their health concerns and find guidance for further care when needed. This initiative serves as a bridge, connecting people to the care they need and guiding them through their health journeys with support and care. Managed by doctor and paramedic with access to a general physician and specialists via telemedicine, the clinics ensure accurate advice and treatment for patients. Open to the local community from Monday to Saturday, providing essential healthcare services free of charge.
