Starbreeze Mikael Nermark resigns as CEO due to personal reasons

Mikael Nermark has resigned as CEO of Starbreeze AB with immediate effect due to personal reasons. The Board of Directors has decided to appoint Tobias Sjögren as acting CEO and to initiate a search process.

Tobias Sjögren is today a member of Starbreeze Board of Directors and has extensive background in the gaming industry. Among previous positions, Sjögren was DICE's Studio Manager in Stockholm when the first edition of Battlefield was launched. Other previous assignments also include EVP Business Development at Paradox and CEO of its subsidiary White Wolf.
