Aug 13 (Reuters) - Wall Street opened higher on Tuesday after producer prices data showed abating inflation pressures, keeping the Federal Reserve on track to cut rates in September, while Starbucks soared after appointing Chipotle's Brian Niccol as CEO.
The Dow Jones Industrial Average rose 88.3 points, or 0.22%, at the open to 39445.27.
The S&P 500 rose 32.6 points, or 0.61%, at the open to 5376.98, while the Nasdaq Composite rose 164.1 points, or 0.98%, to 16944.735 at the opening bell. (Reporting by Shubham Batra in Bengaluru; Editing by Maju Samuel)
