Stellantis said its hybrid vehicle sales so far this year exceed their prior year level as the car maker plans to release more hybrid models.

The multinational owner of Jeep, Dodge and other brands said its sales of EU30 hybrid vehicles in the January to May period were 41% higher than a year ago. The company added that it expected new vehicle launches to drive higher customer take-up on new launches.

The company said it plans to offer 30 hybrid models in Europe this year and plans to introduce six more through 2026.
