The Justice Department said Wednesday it has reached a settlement with Fiat Chrysler Automobiles' U.S. division in the government's long-running investigation into union corruption among top labor leaders in Detroit.

The auto maker's U.S. subsidiary has agreed to plead guilty to a criminal charge and pay a $30 million fine for violating labor laws.
