Stellantis said on Tuesday that it plans to equip more models with its hybrid powertrain technology to meet growing demand from its European customers.

This announcement comes as the automotive group has seen its sales of hybrid models rise by 41% since the start of 2024 compared with the same period in 2023.

In a press release, the automaker explains that it intends to offer 30 hybrid models in Europe this year, with six new launches planned between now and 2026.

The vehicles concerned range from the Alfa Romeo Junior to the new Citroën C3, as well as the new Peugeot 3008 and 5008 and the recent Maserati Grecale.
