The decision, anticipated this morning by Mf, has not yet been made official by the company, Mannori added.
A Stellantis spokesman did not respond at this time to a request for comment.
In late November, the automotive group had announced that it was suspending production at its Mirafiori body shop for the entire month of December, until Jan. 5, mainly due to weak demand for the electric Fiat 500.
