October 27, 2020 STEP Energy Services Exceeding Record Depths and Client Expectations

Calgary, AB - October 27, 2020 - STEP Energy Services Ltd. ('STEP') is proud to announce another record-breaking milestone for its U.S. operations in North Dakota. While performing a milling operation for a client in the Bakken, STEP professionals surpassed the previously achieved record depth of 23,404 feet (7,134 meters) set at the end of September. During this operation, the crew tagged a depth of 24,084 feet (7,341 meters), milled through 54 plugs and completed the well safely and quickly. In addition to this being a depth record for STEP U.S. operations, it is also a record depth for the valued client.
