PEARL RIVER, N.Y. (AP) _ Sterling Bancorp (STL) on Wednesday reported net income of $111.6 million in its fourth quarter.
The Pearl River, New York-based bank said it had earnings of 57 cents per share. Earnings, adjusted for non-recurring costs, came to 64 cents per share.
The bank holding company posted revenue of $269.6 million in the period. Its revenue net of interest expense was $255.6 million, which beat Street forecasts.
For the year, the company reported profit of $404.7 million, or $2.07 per share. Revenue was reported as $1 billion.
