Stock Plzeň-Božkov have received an HREA (Human Resources Excellence Award) for our Stock Edu initiative, launched during the COVID-19 lockdown earlier this year.

The HREA Excellence Awards recognise the best personnel projects and those HR professionals who have contributed the most to the growth of their company, profession and society, aiming to showcase practical examples, support HR development and share best practice.

Our Czech team are delighted to have received an award this year for Stock Edu, an online education programme for local employees' children which ran throughout the lockdown earlier this year.

32 projects entered the competition for the best personnel project HREA Award 2020, a record number in the 10 year history of the competition. This year also saw the introduction of a new category for 'Employee Support during Covid', for which Stock Edu won the award.

Stock Edu was hosted online via the Skype platform under the guidance of qualified and experienced educators and included 16 lessons per week that focused on the individual needs of the children enrolled.

The award will be accepted at the summit by Lucie Fraňková, HR Business Partner, who worked on the project with the HR team in the Czech Republic.

Though our resilience to the crisis has benefitted all of our stakeholders, our top priority throughout remains the health and wellbeing of our people. Office-based employees have predominantly been working from home since March. This HREA award recognizes Stock Edu's support for our people, helping them to meet the challenges of their increased family responsibilities.
