'STV supports the social media boycott by the wider sporting community this weekend to combat online abuse and discrimination, and we are united with them in the urgent need for positive change.

'No posts will be made on the STV Sport social channels (Twitter and Facebook) from 3pm on Friday 30 April until 11.59pm on Monday 3 May. In addition, no sports stories will be posted on the STV News social channels during this time.'
