SUBROS LTD. reported unaudited standalone earnings results for the second quarter and six months ended September 30, 2018. For the quarter, the company reported revenue from operations of INR 5,640.3 million against INR 4,971.5 million for the same period previous year. Total revenue was INR 5,697.9 million against INR 5,000.7 million a year ago. Profit before tax was INR 318.2 million against INR 233.6 million a year ago. Profit for the period was INR 238.1 million or INR 3.97 per basic and diluted share (not annualized) against INR 150.8 million or INR 2.51 per basic and diluted share (not annualized) a year ago.
For the six months, revenue from operations of INR 10,957.2 million against INR 9,686.4 million for the same period previous year. Total revenue was INR 11,055.9 million against INR 9,721.2 million a year ago. Profit before tax was INR 568.0 million against INR 368.5 million a year ago. Profit for the period was INR 427.4 million or INR 7.12 per basic and diluted share (not annualized) against INR 256.0 million or INR 4.27 per basic and diluted share (not annualized) a year ago.
Subros Limited is an India-based manufacturer of thermal products for automotive applications. The Company manufactures compressors, condensers, heat exchangers and all connecting elements required to complete air conditioning (AC) loop and caters to all segments, such as passenger vehicles, buses, trucks, refrigeration transport and railways. Its car AC and engine cooling parts products include blower, evaporator, cooling module, and hoses and tubes. Its railway AC products include roof mounted driver cab AC for diesel automotive, driver cab AC electric automotive and EMU cab AC. The Company's transport refrigeration system products include reefer SL 1400, reefer SL 3500, evaporator unit SL 3500, reefer SL 500 and compressor. It has a range of residential air conditioners, such as window AC and split AC system (inverter and fixed speed range) and supplies these products as original equipment manufacturer (OEM)/original design manufacturer (ODM) to various brands in the market.
