SUBROS LTD. reported earnings results for the second quarter and six months ended September 30, 2017. For the quarter, the company reported net sales of INR 4,969.4 million against INR 4,322.9 million for the same period previous year. Net revenue was INR 5,000.7 million against INR 4,350.1 million a year ago. EBITDA was INR 573.0 million against INR 474.1 million a year ago. Net profit for the period was INR 150.8 million or INR 2.51 per basic and diluted share (not annualised) against INR 48.7 million or INR 0.81 per basic and diluted share (not annualised) a year ago. Profit before tax was INR 233.6 million against INR 36.4 million a year ago. Profit before exceptional items and tax was INR 242.8 million against INR 161.7 million a year ago.
For the six months, net sales of INR 9,114.4 million against INR 7,540.5 million for the same period previous year. Net revenue was INR 9154.5 million against INR 7630.7 million a year ago. EBITDA was INR 1,021.2 million against INR 824.7 million a year ago. Net profit for the period was INR 256.0 million or INR 4.27 per basic and diluted share (not annualised) against INR 34.7 million or INR 0.58 per basic and diluted share (not annualised)a year ago. Profit before tax was INR 368.5 million against INR 10.8 million a year ago. Profit before exceptional items and tax was INR 386.7 million against INR 1174.1 million a year ago.
Subros Limited is an India-based manufacturer of thermal products for automotive applications. The Company manufactures compressors, condensers, heat exchangers and all connecting elements required to complete air conditioning (AC) loop and caters to all segments, such as passenger vehicles, buses, trucks, refrigeration transport and railways. Its car AC and engine cooling parts products include blower, evaporator, cooling module, and hoses and tubes. Its railway AC products include roof mounted driver cab AC for diesel automotive, driver cab AC electric automotive and EMU cab AC. The Company's transport refrigeration system products include reefer SL 1400, reefer SL 3500, evaporator unit SL 3500, reefer SL 500 and compressor. It has a range of residential air conditioners, such as window AC and split AC system (inverter and fixed speed range) and supplies these products as original equipment manufacturer (OEM)/original design manufacturer (ODM) to various brands in the market.
