Sudarshan Chemical Industries Limited announced earnings results for the third quarter ended December 31, 2020. For the third quarter, the company announced total revenue was INR 5,089.31 million compared to INR 4,249.17 million a year ago. Net income was INR 391.59 million compared to INR 283.12 million a year ago. Basic earnings per share was INR 5.7 compared to INR 4.1 a year ago. Diluted earnings per share was INR 5.6 compared to INR 4.1 a year ago. For the nine months, total revenue was INR 12,922.46 million compared to INR 12,627.66 million a year ago. Net income was INR 876.9 million compared to INR 1,172.27 million a year ago. Basic earnings per share was INR 12.7 compared to INR 16.9 a year ago. Basic earnings per share from continuing operations was INR 12.7 compared to INR 17 a year ago.

The Company is engaged in supplying pigments and solvent dyes for coatings, plastics, printing and digital printing, cosmetics, and special applications. The Company operates through two segments: Pigments, and Others. The Pigments segment produces and sells a range of organic, inorganic, effect pigments, and dispersions primarily for paints, plastics, inks, and cosmetics industries. The Others segment comprises of project engineering and manufacturing business of grinding solutions, clean air solutions, power handling solutions. It offers a complete palette of colors for everyday use, durable colors, and special effects. Its coatings applications include decorative, industrial, and automotive paints. The Companyâs brands include Sudaperm, Sudafast, Sudacolor, Sudajet, Sudatherm, Sudasol, Sudanyl, Sumica, Sumicos, Prestige, and Sudacos.
