The Paris Tribunal once again rejects VEOLIA's demands regarding

the consultation of SUEZ employees' representatives

Following the court order of October 9, 2020 and the Court of Appeal's ruling of November 19, 2020 which ordered the suspension of the effects of the sale of SUEZ shares held by ENGIE to VEOLIA, as well as the contemplated takeover bid, VEOLIA filed an action to obtain the amendment of the Court of Appeal's ruling of November 19, 2020.

The President of the Paris Tribunal declared himself incompetent to examine VEOLIA's demands. The jurisdiction again refused to accede to the arguments put forward by VEOLIA.

VEOLIA intends to oppose the comprehensive and transparent information of SUEZ's staff representative bodies, which are very concerned about the dismantling of their Group planned by VEOLIA and its major consequences for employees.

The consultation of SUEZ employees' representatives goes on according to the method collective agreement which provides for four work phases until May 31, 2021.
