Sumitomo Metal Mining Co., Ltd. (SMM) continue the partnership with the Philippine NPO Kaibigan Ermita Outreach Foundation, Inc (Kaibigan) to donate 1.1 million Philippine pesos every year for three years from 2021.
Kaibigan is a Non-Governmental Organization, supporting children and their parents by helping them become empowered and productive members of society in the Philippines, mainly in Manila.
Since 2012, SMM has been supporting Kaibigan in the Philippines where SMM's subsidiaries are located. This aid will enable several children to gain vocational or college education, and their parents to get above the poverty line.
