Sumitomo Mitsui DS Asset Management Company, Limited (President and CEO: Takashi Saruta) announced its organizational and personnel changes as follows.
These changes are intended to further enhance customer satisfaction as we strive to be the best asset management company that contributes to Quality of Life of customers. Please refer to Exhibit 1 for our new organizational structure.
1．Effective Date
April 1, 2021
2．Organizational Change
(1) Enhancement of sales and marketing functions
i. In order to appropriately reflect the results of analysis, including customer feedback and customer satisfaction surveys, in the improvement of company-wide sales activities, we will change Customer Experience Enhancement Department to an internal office of Marketing Planning Department, and renamed it the "Customer Experience Enhancement Section".
ii. In order to respond to the rise of online channels in the retail market and the further growing web-based transactions, and to share know-how and strengthen company-wide sales capabilities, Online Marketing Department will become an internal office of Investment Trust Marketing Department, and will be renamed "Online Marketing Section".
iii. In order to respond swiftly and accurately to rapidly changing global asset management market, the mission of the International Business Department will be more clearly defined.
(2) Establishment of a systematic and effective training platform
In order to foster highly specialized human resources, we will establish the "Human Resources Development Section" within the Human Resources Department to develop and implement a systematic and effective training program.
