The sixth SHKP Vertical Run for Charity - Race to Hong Kong ICC organized by Sun Hung Kai Properties (SHKP) will be held on Sunday, 3 December, and will continue to be the grand finale of the Vertical World Circuit. With all proceeds going to The Community Chest of Hong Kong and The Hong Kong Council of Social Service, the event will continue to finance the development of local children and youth services. Registration will close on Friday, 3 November (23:59). Interested parties are advised to grab the chance to join this iconic sporting event in Hong Kong and exercise for a good cause.

Complimentary training workshops for Race to Hong Kong ICC participants

This year, SHKP and the Department of Orthopaedics & Traumatology of The Chinese University of Hong Kong once again jointly offer complimentary training workshops to runners, enabling them to have a better understanding on vertical running. The training workshops are divided into two levels. The elementary session is designed for runners with limited vertical running experience and will focus on sports medicine theory and high-intensity circuit training. Whereas the advanced session is tailor-made for experienced runners and will cover training program, proper warm-up exercises and special skills to boost race performance. Details are as follows:

This year's SHKP Vertical Run for Charity - Race to Hong Kong ICC continues to offer a wide range of choices for different types of runners, including elite, individual, relay and fun climb events. Groups of four are welcome to join the corporate, secondary student, tertiary student or open relays to enjoy the fun as a team. The fun climb series comprises two levels. Participants aged 16 or above can choose to climb stairs of 82 or 21 floors according to their ability, without being ranked. Children aged ten or above can join 'Fun Climb 21' to experience the fun of stairclimbing with their families.
