Sunrise offers the fastest Internet
- With the coronavirus crisis at its peak, PC Magazin tested the performance of Internet connections in Germany, Austria and Switzerland.
- Sunrise offers the fastest Internet in Switzerland and wins the broadband benchmark test - also in the overall comparison of German, Austrian and Swiss providers.

With its broadband benchmark test, German PC Magazin wanted to find out exactly how powerful landline connections (including fiber optics) are, and which bandwidths consumers can actually use at home, even under high loads. This was tested over a six-month period, starting February 3, 2020. The result: Switzerland is the leader of the pack in the DACH region, and Sunrise gets the best notes in Switzerland, with the fastest Internet.
PC Magazin says that: "As the best provider of three who all received the top mark of 'very good', Sunrise also took home the victory when comparing the different countries. With its download rates, Sunrise outperformed the largest telecommunications provider Swisscom, furthermore managing to gain a decisive advantage over second-placed cable network operator UPC in ping measurements."
