It was with great pleasure that the Sureserve Foundation hosted its inaugural fundraising dinner and auction on 13 November at Butchers' Hall, a historically important, traditional, panelled livery hall in London.

The event was organised to raise funds for future projects to be undertaken by the Foundation, and to communicate the Foundation's goals and objectives; as well as giving everyone present an understanding of the Foundation's history and how it came to be.

The evening featured a silent auction and raffle, featuring an array of spectacular lots, as well as a delicious three course dinner and drinks. Prizes were kindly donated by local and national companies.

Attendees were also entertained by guest speaker Charlie Fogarty MBE, whose story of determination and accomplishment in the face of incredible adversity brought laughs and inspiration in equal measure. You can read about Charlie's story here.

Thanks to the generosity of our sponsors and the attendees, the evening raised over £28,000, which will go a long way to tackling issues of fuel poverty for a great many families across the UK.

'The Foundation's objective began as one persons vision and has in turn inspired so many. It's a legacy of hard work combined with compassion and one we all feel very close to.'

With thanks to our sponsors:
