Swiss Life shareholders approve all resolutions proposed by the Board of Directors

At today's Annual General Meeting of Swiss Life Holding Ltd, shareholders approved all resolutions proposed by the Board of Directors, including the total gross dividend distribution of CHF 21.00 per registered share.

Due to the coronavirus situation, the Annual General Meeting of Swiss Life Holding Ltd was held without any shareholders present at Swiss Life head office in Zurich. In the run-up to the Annual General Meeting, Swiss Life had asked its shareholders to have their voting right exercised by the independent voting representative in view of the special situation. The independent voting representative represented 13.675 million of the voting rights in total (42.71% of the share capital).

Shareholders voted with 99.8% in favour of the proposed ordinary dividend of CHF 21.00 gross per registered share for the 2020 financial year. The distribution of the ordinary dividend as approved at the Annual General Meeting will be paid out with value date 29 April 2021. The Annual General Meeting confirmed Rolf Dörig as Chairman of the Board of Directors and also confirmed the other members of the Board of Directors for a further term of office of one year each. Vice Chairman Frank Schnewlin stepped down from the Swiss Life Board of Directors after 12 years, having reached the statutory age limit. The Board of Directors and the Corporate Executive Board would like to thank him for his longstanding, strong and successful commitment to Swiss Life. Klaus Tschütscher will be the new Vice Chairman.
