PROFIT ALERT

This announcement is made by Symphony Holdings Limited (the "Company") together with its subsidiaries (the "Group") pursuant to Rule 13.09(1) of the Listing Rules and the Inside Information Provisions under Part XIVA of the Securities and Futures Ordinance (Cap. 571 of the Laws of Hong Kong).

The board of directors of the Company ("Board") wishes to inform the shareholders of the Company and potential investors that based on a preliminary assessment of the consolidated management accounts of the Group for the year ended 31 December 2019 currently available to the management, it is expected that the Group will record an unaudited decrease of approximately 35% to 40% in the consolidated profit attributable to the owners for the year ended 31 December 2019, as compared to that for the corresponding period in 2018. The decrease in the unaudited consolidated profit is mainly attributable to the fact that, in 2018, there was a one-off gain from the disposal of subsidiaries and investment properties.

As the Company is still in the process of finalizing the audited financial statements of the Group for the year ended 31 December 2019, the information contained in this announcement is only based on the preliminary assessment by the Company's management of the unaudited consolidated management accounts for the year ended 31 December 2019. The audited consolidated results of the Company for the year ended 31 December 2019 are expected to be announced after the board meeting scheduled on 20 March 2020.
