MORRISVILLE, N.C. and PHILADELPHIA, PA - August 18, 2022 - Syneos Health (Nasdaq:SYNH), the only fully integrated biopharmaceutical solutions organization, announced it has acquired Boco Digital Media, LLC (Boco), a global training and development company specializing in technology-enabled learning and communications solutions. The acquisition strengthens Syneos Health's leading position in deploying digital learning solutions across the product development continuum. The two companies have been partnering since 2016 to deliver smart content via immersive learning experiences.

This acquisition furthers Syneos Health's investment in technologies that transform the customer-facing experience and accelerate digital enablement and automation. The addition of Boco Digital Media expands Syneos Health's Dynamic Assembly network - an open ecosystem of best-of-breed data and technology collaborators designed to strategically address the nuances of unique customer engagements - supporting the Company's goal to deliver innovation, high levels of quality and exceptional service to customers.

'We're excited to welcome Boco to Syneos Health, further expanding our digital expertise and strengthening our position as the global holistic training partner of choice with many of the world's leading biopharma organizations,' said Celeste Mosby, Vice President and General Manager at Learning Solutions from Syneos Health. 'This acquisition enables us to fully leverage Boco's powerful Learning Management System (LMS) and Learning Experience Platform (LXP) to deliver cohesive access to the Syneos Health portfolio of commercial and clinical off-the-shelf offerings, integrated custom solutions, and behavioral and insights gathering assessments.'

Boco is the innovator behind Delphire, its flagship SaaS product developed to drive more experiential learning for biopharmaceutical field teams. Syneos Health and Boco also collaborated on the development of MODAL, a cloud-based educational, communication and performance enhancement LXP product. MODAL, built on the underlying Delphire software, provides a view to the entire learning continuum, from onboarding to sustainment efforts, with advanced peer-to-peer learning and communications across all role types.

MODAL is customizable and capable of functioning as an LMS, LXP or meeting app, augmenting many customers' educational technology platforms. Differentiated with a powerful Artificial Intelligence (AI) engine that engages users in highly tailored experiences, MODAL brings multiple advanced technologies together to deliver speed, dependability and analytics at a level of detail rarely seen in a single system.

'We have been growing our partnership with Syneos Health since 2016 and believe we have only scratched the surface of what's possible,' said Brendan O'Connell, President, Boco Digital Media. 'What makes this acquisition extremely exciting for Boco is that Syneos Health will bring robust, cutting-edge data solutions that integrate well into the core MODAL product.
