In times of the global pandemic of the coronavirus outbreak (COVID-19), Synthomer's priority remains the safety of its employees and their families while at the same time maintaining business operations in order to ensure supply security to our customers. Synthomer has been actively managing the development across its global locations through a global steering committee and has implemented numerous measures to minimize risk of infection and business disruption.

Wherever possible, employees have been encouraged to work from home, restrict travel and to conduct meetings, both internal and external, via video or audio conference to limit infection risk. For roles that require presence on site, we have introduced social distancing practices and enhanced health and safety standards to keep colleagues as safe as possible in these challenging times.

Customers can expect that Synthomer takes every measure necessary to ensure business continuity whilst adhering to its high health and safety standards as well as government policies. Currently, there is minimal disruption in the supply of our goods. As a global speciality chemical company, we remain a reliable partner to the varied industries that our customers belong to and are fully aware of our responsibility in the manufacture of essential products to every-day life.

We will keep our customers informed of any relevant news in regard to our operations and their supply security. Employees are regularly informed about current developments and measures via internal communication media and mailings. Especially in light of the extraordinary circumstances, Synthomer is grateful to all of its colleagues who contribute to a safe and reliable operation of our business.
