Systemair showcases first AMCA-certified energy saving box fan

Systemair has announced that its MUB - EC Ventilation Units are now certified by AMCA International for sound and air performance. The box fan stands out for being the first AMCA-certified energy saving ventilation unit from a European manufacturer that can be made available to customers worldwide. This milestone reflects the company's commitment to address the requirements of its global network of customers.
Harald Rudelgass, Associate Director of Technical Regulatory Affairs, Systemair Group, said, 'Systemair has had a long-standing partnership with AMCA, and we have one of the largest numbers of certified products outside of the United States, in addition to a number of AMCA-accredited laboratories located in Sweden, Germany, India and the United States. Our Sweden laboratory can, for example, test according to AMCA for products such as air curtains. It is in fact the only one outside the United States able to do so. This shows the level of investment that Systemair places on ensuring the competence and performance of products, using global thinking in the field of laboratory accreditation to provide the best service to all of our international subsidiaries.'
Underlining the importance of quality third-party accreditation and certification, Rudelgass stated that when it comes to the performance of such products it is important to be a trustworthy partner, and that certification is a way to achieve the highest level of trust. He added that AMCA-certified products have become a standard requirement for projects in most markets owing to the growing appreciation and understanding for independent bodies that ensure technical data is correct, with AMCA Certification considered to be one of the most reliable fan certification programmes in the industry.
MUB-EC is ideal for typical commercial and residential building applications. It has also been installed in Saudi Arabia as part of a metro project, which underscores the product's versatility. The certified product is available to customers worldwide through Systemair's global distribution network.
