Taka-Q Co., Ltd. (TSE:8166) signed a basic agreement to acquire Grand Back business of The Daiei, Inc. for ¥703 million in cash on July 19, 2016. A contract is expected to be signed by late October 2016. The deal is subject to approval by the Board of Directors. The deal was resolved by the Board of Directors on July 19, 2016. The agreement was signed as of October 26, 2016. As of October 24, 2016, the transaction was approved by the board of directors of The Daiei, Inc. As of October 26, 2016, the transaction was approved by the board of directors of Taka-Q Co., Ltd. The deal is expected to complete by February 1, 2017.
